Water sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)

The water, sanitation and hygiene product has two aspects; the aspects are dubbed as hardware and software.

 The hardware aspect focuses on the building of infrastructure and equipment needed for the project.

 The software approach revolves around impacting skills or solicitation of social and economic changes to the members of the community.

Due to climate changes experienced worldwide Kenya not being spared, drilling of boreholes has been embraced significantly in fertile regions in the country experiencing short rains and water scarcity due to drying up of shallow wells which farmers had resorted to in the past.
